The ҹɫֱ²¥app: Our impact 2017-2018

General

Serving in the ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy or ҹɫֱ²¥app Marines represents an enduring commitment to protecting our island nation. The ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy spends more time on deployments than the other Armed Forces with up to 660 days in 36 months spent away at sea*. This commitment is not without sacrifice.

The ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy and ҹɫֱ²¥app Marines Charity exists to provide support for sailors, marines and their families, from the day they join and for the rest of their lives.

In 2017, the ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy and ҹɫֱ²¥app Marines Charity distributed £9.7m to support our beneficiaries. Through grants to ships and units who are deployed, post-service transition, family support and care in old age, the ҹɫֱ²¥app is helping create a world in which our serving men and women’s sacrifice is recognised, ensuring they are supported, no matter what.
