The first of 3 Scottish Kings Camps supported by the ҹɫֱ²¥app completed last week; as you can see the kids all had a whale of a time. The Faslane Base Executive team paid a visit to ensure that all was running to plan in the unseasonably good weather!
COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the 2020 Kings Camps in partnership with the ҹɫֱ²¥app, so it was particularly pleasing to see the camps return this year to support the Clyde Community. The children all enjoyed themselves in a safe and stimulating environment which, at the end of the day, is all that really matters.
Base Executive Officer Commander Stu Currie
Annabelle Walker, Commissioning Manager for the ҹɫֱ²¥app Family Support programme said, "working closely with Kings and the ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy we have overcome many challenges this year, I am so pleased so see the ҹɫֱ²¥app sponsored Activity Camps back with more children than ever before thanks to a lot of hard work from colleagues and our partners."
During this year’s Summer holidays over 1200 children from ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy and ҹɫֱ²¥app Marine families will attend a series of Kings Camps across the country supported by the ҹɫֱ²¥app and the ҹɫֱ²¥app Navy.
